Thank you for visiting the Lobbying Bureau, the section of the Office of the City Clerk that enforces the New York City’s Lobbying Law. Officially established in 2006, the Lobbying Bureau works with lobbyists and clients to ensure compliance with the Lobbying Law to promote transparency in government.
Throughout the site, you will find information about the law governing lobbying activity including the Lobbying Law, Advisory Opinions, Announcements and Annual Reports issued by the City Clerk, additional information concerning compliance with the Lobbying Law and information regarding the Lobbying Reports, reporting periods and filing deadlines.
The website also contains a link to the e-Lobbyist application, the Lobbying Bureau’s online filing application the site through which lobbyists and clients file reports pursuant to the Lobbying Law.
For members of the public, Lobbyist Search, the public information database, can also be accessed through our website. Lobbyist Search contains data reported by lobbyists and clients since 1998.
